DESCRIPTION: A small bass not exceeding 15cm. Four or more dark bars along upper flank. Smaller less distinct large spots along lower flank. In juveniles, a dark stripe extends along flank from head to tail.

 

RANGE: Eastern Pacific. Sea of Cortez to Peru including offshore islands.
