The Blackeye Goby (Rhinogobiops nicholsii)
is an abundant inhabitant of North Eastern Pacific reefs. It is a bold
little fish that will stand its ground when faced with a scuba diver and may
even flare its gills and pectoral fins to 'frighten away' the giant
