The blue rockfish is an occasional visitor to southern Vancouver Island. It is most frequently seen swimming among large schools of black rockfish (Sebastes melanops). It is a member of the Sebastidae family which include rockfishes, rock cods and thornyheads. These blue rockfish pictures are available for commercial licensing.
