SCIENTIFIC NAME: Sepia latimanus. DESCRIPTION: Body coloration extremely variable. Often displays widely spaced reddish brown lines on a paler brown background. Or, a mottled/variegated pattern. Mantle may also be plain red or brown. Outermost arms extremely broad.
RANGE: Indo-Pacific. Japan to Northern Australia and east to Fiji.
