DESCRIPTION: Green body graduating to charcoal around fins. Fine dots and lines form subtle horizontal variegated patterns on flanks. Dorsal and anal fins vertically exaggerated compared to other tangs - even more so in juveniles.

 

RANGE: Indo-Pacific. East Africa to Indonesia, Japan and French Polynesia.
