DESCRIPTION:
A large sleek baleen whale with a dark grey upper body and a pale underside.
Sometimes the belly has a pinkish hue. Three longditudinal ridges on top of
the head. Extremely falcate dorsal fin. Dorsal usually visible above surface
at the same time as the blowholes.
RANGE:
Circumtropical and temperate.
