The graceful crab
(Cancer gracilis)
is one of the most common rock crabs found in shallow
water in the Pacific North West. It can be distinguished from the red rock
crab by counting the carapace teeth. On the graceful crab the widest point
is the ninth point. On red rock crabs it is the tenth. These graceful crab pictures
