Snake Prickleback Pictures - images of Lumpenus sagitta

The Snake Prickleback (Lumpenus sagitta) is a shy, nocturnal inhabitant of sandy slopes in the Pacific Northwest of North America. In early summer around Vancouver Island, schools of juvenile snake pricklebacks can be found swimming over low lying kelp beds in shallow bays. The adults can also be found at that time. These Snake Prickleback pictures are available for commercial licensing. For further information regarding usage please e-mail MarineLifePics.
