The Squat Lobster (Munida
quadrispina) is a common inhabitant of sheltered deeper reefs in the
Pacific Northwest. Although it is possible to find individuals hiding in the
shallows, it is more common to find squat lobsters below 100ft or more. Not true lobsters,
they are more closely related to hermit
