The wolf eel (Anarrhichthys
ocellatus) is a common inhabitant of rocky reefs throughout the Pacific
NorthWest. A highlight of any dive, wolf eels that ar used to being fed will
swim out of their dens to greet scuba divers in
the hopes of a hand out. Wolf eels are members of the family Anarhichadidae
which includes the wolf fishes which are better known from the Atlantic but
also occur further north in Alaskan waters. These wolf eel pictures
are available for commercial
